01

Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to Rounda Technologies Ltd. and the Rounda website, mobile applications, waitlist, support channels, and related services. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, creating or joining a pot, contributing, receiving payouts, or otherwise using Rounda, you agree to these terms.

If you use Rounda on behalf of a group, workplace, student body, association, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to represent that group and communicate pot rules to its members.

02

Eligibility and accounts

Who can use Rounda

You must be old enough and legally able to use savings, payment, or financial coordination services in your location. You may not use Rounda if you are barred by law, sanctions, platform restrictions, or a previous account suspension.

Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account, PIN, devices, login credentials, and recovery methods. We may ask for additional verification before sensitive actions.

  • Provide accurate registration, profile, bank, and verification information.
  • Keep your login details, PIN, device access, and recovery methods secure.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or account misuse.
  • Use Rounda only for lawful savings activity and in line with these terms.
  • Accept responsibility for actions taken through your account unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security controls.

03

Savings pots and user roles

Rounda is built for transparent savings circles. Pot creators, admins, and members each have responsibilities that keep the group clear, accountable, and fair.

Using Rounda

Rounda helps users create and manage group savings pots, contribution cycles, reminders, member records, and payout activity. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate, current, and secure.

Savings groups and roles

Pot creators and admins are responsible for setting clear pot rules, invite access, member positions, contribution amounts, cycle dates, payout order, and participation expectations before members join.

Contributions and payouts

Contribution and payout activity may depend on bank availability, payment providers, verification status, network availability, pot rules, and compliance reviews. Rounda may show payment status, receipts, reminders, and payout details to support transparency.

Verification and security

We may require identity, phone, email, PIN, biometric, bank, or other verification before certain account, pot, contribution, or payout actions. These checks protect users and reduce misuse.

Late or missed payments

If a contribution is late or missed, pot rules may apply reminders, status changes, restrictions, late-fee information, admin review, or other member-facing updates. Users remain responsible for understanding each pot before joining.

Fair use

Do not use Rounda for fraud, harassment, impersonation, unauthorized access, illegal transactions, money laundering, platform abuse, or activity that harms other users, payment providers, or Rounda.

  • Admins should explain contribution amounts, cycle timing, payout order, member positions, late-payment handling, and invite rules clearly.
  • Members should review pot details carefully before joining or contributing.
  • All participants should keep enough funds available for scheduled contributions.
  • Rounda may display contribution, payout, member, and status information to support transparency within each pot.
  • A pot may be restricted, paused, reviewed, or closed if we detect safety, compliance, fraud, payment, or rule-enforcement concerns.

04

Contributions, payouts, and payment records

Payment timing and provider limits

Contributions and payouts may depend on bank networks, payment provider processing, identity checks, pot status, account limits, compliance requirements, network availability, and the accuracy of bank details supplied by users.

Transparency inside each pot

Rounda may show contribution status, receipts, payout position, due dates, late status, reminders, and transaction references to admins and members where needed to operate the pot fairly.

Late or missed contributions

If a member misses a scheduled contribution, the applicable pot rules may trigger reminders, status updates, restrictions, late-fee information, support review, or admin action.

Errors and reversals

If a payment, payout, balance, or receipt appears incorrect, contact support promptly with the pot name, transaction details, screenshots where available, and any bank references.

05

Verification and security reviews

We may require phone, email, identity, BVN-related status where applicable, bank, PIN, biometric, device, or other checks before allowing sensitive account, pot, contribution, or payout actions. These checks help protect users, reduce fraud, and meet payment or compliance obligations.

Security reviews may affect access

During a safety, fraud, compliance, payment, or dispute review, we may delay, limit, pause, reverse where legally possible, or require additional confirmation for account and pot activity.

06

Fair use and prohibited activity

Rounda must be used respectfully, lawfully, and only for legitimate savings coordination. The following activities are not allowed:

  • Use the service for fraud, scams, money laundering, illegal payments, or deceptive financial activity.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead another user or Rounda representative.
  • Attempt to bypass verification, payment controls, limits, security features, or account restrictions.
  • Access, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or disrupt Rounda systems without permission.
  • Upload malicious code, abuse support channels, or interfere with another user's savings activity.
  • Create multiple accounts or false identities to evade enforcement, limits, or pot rules.

07

Disputes, suspension, liability, and changes

Disputes and support

For contribution, payout, account, or group disputes, contact support with relevant records. We may review account and pot activity to help understand and resolve the issue.

Limits or suspension

We may limit, pause, suspend, or terminate access when required for safety, suspected misuse, legal compliance, provider requirements, unresolved verification, or breach of these terms.

Service availability

Rounda may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, provider downtime, compliance reviews, payment delays, or events outside our reasonable control. We work to restore access quickly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

No financial advice

Rounda provides tools for group savings coordination. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. You should make your own decisions before joining or creating a pot.

Third-party providers

Payments, verification, messaging, hosting, analytics, and support may rely on third-party providers. Their availability, rules, and processing requirements may affect certain Rounda features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rounda is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as Rounda grows. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
